There was never a state of Palestine, it only existed as a Region which Roman Emperor Hadrian renamed Juda to Palestine after a Jewish revolt. In fact, before Israel, there was only the mandate of Palestine under British rule. It had once been a territory owned by the Ottoman Empire. There was no independent Palestine.
