Fun fact: about a week ago everyone in south lebanon left cause isreal bombed over 5000 airstrikes randomly in an hour and till this day they haven't stopped as im typing they are bombing killing over 1000 and injuring 3000 civilians none of the targets were Hezbollah i was in that experience and its terrifying seeing them shooting airstrikes randomly

Dear god, may you please protect us from the war? Just something simple, i just wish we could live in peace. I know we (lebanon) started the war but on the other side there are kids dying, getting kicked out of their houses, that is just so unfair. Plus we were defending palestine. Stupid question. The war that started in 1948 NEVER ended. This situation is like the Monty Python sketch of the knight refusing to give up after King Arthur hacks off all his limbs. Unless leadership can rise up to bury the hatchet, this war will continue like the German defense of the Reich, with the Red Army perpetually besieging Berlin. The inherent problem is that Israel is not strong enough by itself to defeat the various Arab factions still devoted to destroying Israel. Until the Arab groups accept the existence of Israel the war will never end, because even though Israel could "win" the war, the methods and tactics required for such a victory will isolate Israel, as it's most ardent supporter (USA) will be forced to distance itself from Israel, possibly withdrawing it's support, permanently casting a shadow on the existential future of Israel.
