The actor playing Kenny was just straight up amazing in this episode.

That last trollface is for us for believing Kenny was the good one.

the woman playing kenny’s mum absolutely CARRIED that ending. you can absolutely hear the disgust and complete disappointment in her voice, notably when she says “you’ve been looking at kids”. spot on line delivery

Never has a trollface been looking so sinister.

It makes the small scene of him giving the toy to the child at his workplace way more sinister and uncomfortable.

honestly got to give props to the actress playing the mother here, the entire plot twist was riding on her performance and she killed it!

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the sheer level of stupidity from the guy who genuinely thought it was better to rob a bank than have his wife find out about his affair

Fun fact: Kenny's actor was a fan of the show before auditioning for it, his favorite episode is White Bear

the moment he said "how young" my stomach dropped. shut up and dance was truly one of the best episodes in black mirror. it was absolutely gut wrenching, and done so well.

I get chills when I see the look in Kenny’s eyes when he realizes that his life is over

I think the part of the call that is the most chill inducing is the end when the mother says “tell me that’s not true” but her sobs cut off the last few words because she’s just so hysterical.

The actor who plays Kenny is phenomenal. Pure face acting. The way he shows terror throughout this episode is phenomenal, and of course at the end the look in his eyes of pure fear. Incredible episode.

Black mirror somehow makes us feel like an ending of a whole show in just one episode

This seriously was the scariest episode of Black Mirror because of how probable it is.

Edit: some people aren’t really understanding this comment. I am not referring to Kenny specifically, but to the entire plot point of a remote access Trojan that lets someone see through your computer’s webcam. There are tons of videos now of this happening - mostly for good, like Scammer Payback, but could just as easily be flipped for spying and potential blackmail.

Kenny wasn’t the only one targeted during the episode by the hackers, but had the most dirt to blackmail him with which is revealed throughout the episode (and a rewatch will give you the creeps with the way he interacts with patrons at the restaurant he works at). Hector likely wouldn’t go as far as a fight to the death to cover up his infidelity. We don’t know what one of the other targets did but clearly with a menial task of “deliver a cake” it likely wasn’t as bad as the others being blackmailed.

I love how the battery of the phone went from 5% to 4% after the call, nice detail.

"How young were they, in the pictures?" When I heard that line, I remember I literally froze in horror. Everything became clear. Amazing twist I did not see coming.

What I really love about this episode is that you sympathize with all these characters, who have done terrible things, instead of chastising them for doing what they did (until the very end). This episode messed me up.

The moms screams, and how Kenny sees the troll face and the music starts getting louder and better while police lights reflect on his face. A masterpiece honestly, one of my fav episodes. It's crazy how the audience were rooting for Kenny throughout the episode but we all ended up being trolled.
