As a senior with multiple chronic illnesses, I get so tired of all the garbage the healthcare providers and that Medicare put me through that I seriously consider forgoing treatment and letting myself suffer. It’s hard enough being sick 24/7/365. It’s cruel to be treated this way.

It would also be helpful if we could take the drugs our doctors prescribe rather than having to go through step therapy. It’s particularly galling to have to do it every time you switch Part D providers.

In the UK our beloved NHS has been nearly destroyed by privatisation. Public private partnerships. They cost the taxpayer more and deliver less because they are always trying to make a profit, they are trying to make it completey like the US which Bernie proves doesn't work.

I'm from Europe and over the past few years I've received treatment for a serious eye condition. I've been in and out of hospitals, I've been through cancer treatment and I had an eye surgery. It didn't cost me a single €1. My mother went through a cancer treatment + surgery, all expenses covered by the government. Free health and medical care FTW :-) We also have paid sick leave, paid vacation, paid maternal/paternal leave, etc.
