Among the many areas of bilateral co-operation, climate change and renewable energy are among the top priorities for India and its partners in the Pacific, including Fiji.

Indian Minister of External Affairs Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said among the projects that reflected India’s determination to take action against climate change.

What a great idea, to have this project implemented, so long as the cost are favourable for the Pacific Islanders pockets.

Okay 🆗. Make sure to understand that cyclone 🌀🥴 is getting stronger 💪. These solar panels as well as building must be up to code for Cyclone categories level. Or else this 2.8 million dollar project will just be another weak link waste. Currently Fiji needs to improve infrastructure and housings. Majority of rural and village homes are in desperate need to upgrade houses to high category level against the cyclone 🌀 or hurricanes. The point is fix the foundation first. Rather then Patches.
