How do we define ‘conquer’? Do we mean a peaceful spread of culture, or a violent turmoil and war-like conquest? I certainly don’t picture the brutality or greedy agendas of the Mughals when I picture Indian ‘invasion’. I feel like there would only be some kind of justified reason - to harbour greed and hence ‘conquer’ or to dehumanise or ‘dominate’ others is the anti-thesis of our dharmic culture. Anyone have any ideas? Am curious.
