Jet Powered Go-Kart (Top Speed Run)

preview_player
Показать описание
I Built another Jet Go-kart just to see what the Top Speed of the single Engine Jet-powered Go-kart is.
In the previous jet go-kart video I did everything except for a top-speed run, so here it is, I thought it was kind of weak because I was expecting a lot more but the wind resistance is much stronger than You think it would be.
I am editing this video after a Brain injury I sustained recently, so I'm not seeing things exactly the same way I used to right now, I hope this video is edited well lol.

let me know what you think and wish me luck on posting more videos! these are pretty difficult sometimes.

I was wondering about the top speed when i watched that original vid. Tbh i thought it would be a bit faster, i was able to get to 41mph on my own jet kart with a smaller engine and it was still accelerating, but i got sketched out.

This man is the definition of; If it drives, put a jet engine on it.

Many people cannot appreciate what this man builds in his garage. Amazing stuff as always WP! And 50 plus mph is a cart is far faster than most can conceive. That’s smoking.

this channel always amazes me at the effort this dude puts into his projects... always 10/10

I know you do stuff differently but I gladly would have watched 5 individual 25 minute long episodes of you building this thing.

As always, above and beyond what we deserve in a vid.
Thanks man

this man put passion into it without knowing it. add finishing to the chair, wheel balancing and paint the chassis. this is quality workmanship just for a project that he do for youtube

I highly doubt he will see this comment but this channel is so inspiring! I’d love to know where he learned to do all the things he does! Designing and fabricating stuff like this would be a dream!

HEY, .. HE DIDN'T SIGNAL HIS TURNS ! ! !
... shots fired, shots fired 😳

That was crazy cool !! If you added aerodynamics of any sort, I'm sure you could increase the top end, but not by much. Not sure I would want to go much faster, without some crash protection, pads, etc., as any failure at these speeds would probably equal a hospital trip. Just a very cool project, all in all, and well done !!

First Time Caller 😂

But just looking at the pictures.
Extending the frame just a tad. And putting the outside engines, just so they warm the tires.
Yeah, make them individually throttlable.
You might get a cart that has an All Weather Capability 😂
... and Sticky in the Corners 😏

From an old school aerospace guy.
That actually worked with that Science Guy.
I think his name was Speed Walker 😂
... memories 👍

It's interesting how you layed out the dawg as a blast shield !!!🐕

- improve the aerodynamics with some covers over the frame and the bottom
- side skirts for groundeffect
- add 2 vertical parallel fins behind (each) jet engine that are controlled via cables and the steering for giving you vector-thrust in tighter turns; if you have oversteer and you need to counter-steer the vector-thrust can help you to get the rear of the go-cart back on track
😉
*Nice project!!!* 😃👍

Nice build! Absolutely nice seeing you build the right stuff the right way! Thanks bro!

Cop casually drives by like a jet engine go cart is the least of his worries that day. Creative content is greatest!

thats crazy that vid of the dude on the kawasaki is in my hometown🤣 never realized that till now

That was awesome!!

I would love to see you add some aerodynamic additions/changes to see how much faster you can get it to go. I'm guessing if you can get the seat to lay back some, that alone could easily get it over 70.

Great job and keep up the great work!!

That drag behind the go-cart is also robbing the engine of ram recovery pressure. You need ducts that take the free stream air and direct it to the intake.
