OBS Studio: Best NVENC Settings for Recording 2018

I've recorded two clips to compare VBR 60000 bitrate recording to a CQP recording using 15 as the factor and to discuss the best record settings for NVENC.

So lower cqb value like 5 is better that a higher one like 15?

With these setting my videos look great, coming out of Vegas 14. But when I upload them to youtube, it compresses the heck out of them and the pixelation returns. Anything I can do about it?

when I used this setting it gives me a warning "update your drivers" but I have them up to date

Nice vid, seems you are really working through some of these intricate recording variables. Odd you weren't getting a better quality recording from a CQP between 20-23 though as opposed to 15. I understand you are going for a near lossless recording but that high of a setting would suggest to me there is another cause for noticeable degradation (maybe downscaling 1440 to 1080?). Either way good luck.

Whoa way too complicated, was hoping for something more basic but more informed than your typical heres what i use go do that style video. I dont think id wanna use cqp or w.e, just trying to get better than youtube quality on my local recording, default settings cbr 9k bitrate seems to be a lil less than id like, id want something more like my 15k bitrate that shadowplay does but without pinning my gpu on top of having the shadowplay going
