the value of the shards has been reduced making it very difficult to farm
orange essence from esports drops and capsules

Looks like orange essence from icons has been significantly nerfed

this will make farming drops an esport capsules less worth it

a 60% nerf to the amount of orange essence you get from disenchanting icon shards

emote shards are also bugged and unable to reroll icons or emotes at the moment

Riot has been Shadow nerfing rewards so much lately. Even if they end up announcing it was unintentional and revert it, it'll be very hard for me to believe they aren't only doing so because of the backlash. It is clearly intentional.

I have for years been always buying the Event passes because of their value, but this time I'll gladly skip on the Steel Valkyries pass and every following one, because Riot has given me plenty of reason to never support them financially anymore. The overall lower quality of new skins, No word on when the improved pass system will come, the Client still being a frustrating buggy mess for years, the complete and utter failure that was the SG event, the continuous nerfs to every free or cheap way to get in-game rewards such as the Prime Capsules nerf and discontinuing the B.E Emporium while giving a baffling lie as an excuse for it, all that and still having the audacity to increase RP prices. This company has done a tremendous effort this year to make sure I have no good will left for them, and I really hope World's viewership are drastically lower this year as a consequence for killing the biggest incentive to actually watch them if you're not an E-Sports nerd.

We need to remember that they were not doing us a favor with these capsules, they need us to log in and watch so they can sell the space to brands. If numbers are low, they could not sell the space.
They were not giving us gifts, they were ensuring their business.

That's it. I am now 100% convinced this year of "glitches" has been intentional. Their budget and income has likely shown that Wild Rift is more marketable than sustaining League, which is why they're trying to aggro us pc players and shift us to mobile where they have more control and a more stable client. If this is the case, how sad that they'd rather punish us for playing their game than be honest with us about moving the focus to mobile. Also, how despicable that they would prefer to use underhanded, deceptive, gaslighting tactics than just be open and honest with people about end of life for a busted client and trying to better serve a new player base... rather than manipulating the numbers so when they finally pull the plug it will show what they want instead of reflect the reality.

I loved collecting cosmetics in this game, but all of their underhanded greedy changes this year have turned me off from their product. I've stopped playing and stopped buying content. They can piss off with this nonsense.

I had a challenge to get all emotes that are available to buy in the store (I consider that as "completing" the game of some sort since I have told myself when I was starting playing I will not spend money on this game because Riot does not deserve a single penny for how they "handle" the toxicity and how the game and client are constantly bugged) and now not only I can't do that, I can't even disenchant the shard for orange essence. It's insane! Please stop financing Riot Games. They will treat us like shit as long as they keep getting the money they get. I knew that from the start but more people have to follow.

Assuming there is an average of 5k viewers who is sitting for rewards each eSports stream, Riot gains 5k viewers for their each stream. Meanwhile we're sitting there afking for the drop (25 OE if it is not emote) that may not come for hours. Get a grip Riot. Thats called making fool of your players.
