911 service restored in Massachusetts after statewide outage

Massachusetts’ 911 service has been restored after an outage affected communities across the state Tuesday afternoon, according to a state representative. A public safety alert was sent out around 2:30 p.m. warning people of the statewide service outage.

In February, AT&T experienced nationwide outages that also impacted 911 calls, and in April, South Dakota, Nebraska, Texas, and Nevada had 911 outages.
