"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.

The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began – the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

One detail I liked about The waiting room with the ALDC was at the very beginning you notice how all the girls would keep standing up, sit back down, twiddle their fingers and feet and get back up to sit back down. It’s so real bc when in the hospital, aren’t there times when you feel like you just can’t stay still, can’t sit there for too long w/o having to get up for a minute just to sit back down and gather your thoughts.

The way Jeanette tried to recreate the waiting room is ridiculous. Because the waiting room conveys the story in a hospital . Her costumes didn’t convey that, it gave me funeral vibes and she can say that Abby’s version lacked dancing, but- she doesn’t understand that to girls were telling a story through acting and dancing, I feel that if dancers can do that especially in a group routine it’s basically art . She has no right to criticise Abby’s idea and concept

Ava’s mom saying Abby didn’t understand what it was like being in a waiting room is wrong. Abby’s mom died, and everyone goes through stuff like that.

There is so many mixed opinions on the waiting room. Acting/emotion wise it was was excellent and jam packed. I however do agree there wasn’t much dancing going on, and that probably contributed to the loss. It was an excellent piece and I don’t agree with it not telling the story because it defiantly did, but I do think there could have been abit more focus on the dance element.
