The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began – the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Maddie deserved the solo I just wish Abby didn’t play mind games with the girls. It’s clear she just wanted them to get upset and then be like oh you’re jealous. I also think Maddie deserved the win against Kendall her solo was amazing.

See here’s the thing, Nia was/is a good dancer. But, you could see the difference between her lyric and everyone else’s. I’m glad Holly didn’t get too upset and took the corrections and left it at that, good example for Nia. Then later when Nia danced at the competition, she was fine.

Edit: Since I didn’t exactly make my point clear. I’m not saying her contemporary was EVER terrible. My point is that you can see the growth between right here and her dancing in the later seasons is different. Meaning her technique was better and her confidence in this style was better. And I wish Abby had more confidence in her then to give her racially motivated solos and to give her more opportunities to defend her title(s) that she has contemporary in.
