Cruise News Today — October 27, 2022: Port Canaveral Sees 4.1 Million, Icon of the Seas Sells Fast

Cruise Industry News for Thursday, October 27, 2022.

Royal Caribbean’s upcoming Icon of the Seas has opened for bookings and some of the prices per person are very high. Port Canaveral detailed its 2022 cruise numbers and it was over four-million cruise guests and over 700 ships. A service dog has celebrated over 700 sailing days with Holland America and was awarded five-star mariner status while the ship was docked in NYC. The winter 2022-2023 cruising season has begun in the Caribbean island of Grenada.

We will miss the Fantasy class ships. While the bigger ships have more to do out first two cruises were on the Fantasy and during the last several years we have been on most of the ships no longer existing.
