Craziness!! We were on a Royal Caribbean cruise and walked past a cabin it looked worse than this!! The steward is not your momma!! Grown folks shouldn't behave this way!! Just shameful!!!!

There’s a difference between cleaning & tidying. The cabin attendant cleans, they don’t tidy. It’s not their job to tidy up after grown adults. They refresh the room - wipe down surfaces, make the bed, etc. If you can’t pick up your own clothing & put rubbish in the bin you’re feral & should be added to a no sail list for future.

My husband and I went on Carnival Cruise line for like 6 times the last 4 years.
They don't use garbage bag in the room I don't know why but I always bring a garbage bag from home and put all the garbage in the bag.
We always make sure we cleaned up the room before we walked out the room and we still leave some extra tips for our room service staff.
Those Cruise staffs works really hard every day

I feel bad for the cabin stewards who have to go through stuff like this and barely get paid.

Im quite an untidy person at home and there is a reason for this but my cabin looks like no one lives there . Also it shocks me when i get off a plane and the carnaige left is atrocious I cant understand why people just throw all their crap on the floor when the crew constantly come around to collect everything.

It’s messy not disgusting. They need to clean bathroom n give new towels. Do the bed and take out any dirty dishes. That’s it. If they want to be messy so be it they are on vacation. Disgusting is poop or throw up and food on floor or bed so that not disgusting.

I could see maybe a shoe wandering around a bit or maybe a shirt or two laying around on the surfaces if someone was late for a dinner or something but 😮😮 that place looks like a hurricane went through! What in the world?!

Agree 100%, leave the cabin as it is until they straighten it out themselves as adults should. We have a family member that cruised with us in the past who probably felt that the cabin steward was their personal maid.

The one time i went on a cruise 2 yrs ago when we where disembarking we walked past a room that i swear looked like a tornado has gone thru it was so bad i felt sorry for the ppl that clean up

I only ask my steward to clean about every three days, and I put everything away so he doesn't have to work around piles of stuff...

Disgusting!! We noticed a cabin next to us with crumbs all over the floor and crap was everywhere! I guess they figured the room steward would clean it for them. This would drive me nuts!

Looks untidy but can't really see the state on this video. If it is just the bedding etc yes it should be done, if it has actually been left filthy then no.

Seeing this tile, I knew it was Carnival. No, the maid should not clean that mess. Tell the slobs with their sense of entitlement to do it.

There's a great difference between cleaning and tidying someone's mess. This is unacceptable. The staff works so hard and only has a short time for each cabin. They are not servants, they are hard working people!
