What's going on Initiate, Bird here and in this video we are going over the queen of queens when it comes to Elden Ring, we have Queen Marika the Eternal.

Queen Marika the Eternal is the reigning divine sovereign of the Lands Between, and a vessel for the Elden Ring. Her offspring possess demigod status and are bearers of the Great Runes.

So it turns out none of Godfrey’s kin were evil: morgott wanted to protect the erdtree, his home, mohg wanted to rule an order out of love and just got controlled by Miquella, and Godwyn was basically elden ring Jesus

Fun new fact, marika was actually from a village of shamans who were sortof enslaved by the hornsent. Marika escaped/rebelled and once in power used messmer to enact revenge on the hornsent. She grew a miniature erdtree inside her village despite knowing noone was left alive to see it

i love how Radahn and Ranni aren't Marika and Godfrey's but they're like the new generations of them, Radahn idolizing Godfrey and also having brute strength almost the same as Hoarah and Ranni having her shadow as a doggo

Marika resented the hornsents, as all crucible related stuff. So she despised godrick's order of crucible knights. Not only that but all children she had with him where affected by the crucible. So by the end of that she probably couldn't even look him in the face anymore, stripped him of grace and sent him to get killed in the fog

They actually had way more than 3 kids lol. Those dead bodies in the walking mausoleum are demigods that were also killed in the black knife plot. Godrick was a descendant of A demigod that wasn’t the main cast. It is even stated that the deaths of the demigods were innumerable but the one that devastated and meant the most to Marika was Godwyn’s. Also the god skin nobles exist as well wearing garbs made of god flesh.

One thing ive often thought, is that the tarnished seem to come from all walks of life, not just Godfreys lot. Coryn, Gideon, Dialos, none of them are from Marikas old lot. So it would seem being blessed by grace wasn't just Marikas doing. We already know Placidusax was the oldest Elden Lord we know of, or likely even just a God of his time. Did he have tarnished? His eldenring was way different looking than Marikas. Same one? Could have been. Starting to seem more like she made another one from what I can see. So the whole story of Tarnished is probably way more ancient than the golden order.

I'm always on the side of the theory that Marika meant for Godfrey to leave so he and his army would come back over day, to recover the else throne

Saying her Order endured thanks to Godfrey is an understatement, because he CRUSHED all enemies of the Erdtree with his army, and he crushed them so hard that he had to be nerfed by having Serosh grafted on him to quell his lust for battle and to look and behave as a proper lord. His crusade didn't start easy. The very first threat the Golden Order removed was the giants, and by the looks on the mountain top you can see they stood no chance against his onslaught, from there his crusade made it's way down south until it eventually ended at the border of Caelid where Marika personally stripped Godfrey and all of his men of their grace for reason unknown. However just before they were driven from the Lands Between, the Queen promised him that he and his men shall have their grace returned to them after death
