Almost just ordered my mk2 then I saw this and looks like I'm spending a little more money today😁

I have my longmill up and running for a good half year now, but I started using my laser module for most of the time. Yesterday I came accross the auto touch plate on the sienci forum and had a "waitaminute moment". It took me a few hours to locate mine and install it. Oh my! Why have I not used this right when I got to carving a month ago. What a pleasure to use.

I can't believe that this video is a year old and i've never seen it. I've been using gSender for a while now (thanks to videos from Garrett Fromme) and I love it. But this new touchplate looks to be a game changer!!! Looks like I know what my next purchase for my cnc is gonna be, lol. Thanks guys, yall got it goin

If I set up a v bit in VCarve, why would I need to set it up in the touch block other than the Z? All gsender needs to know is XYZ, right? The gcode tells it what bit is being used...am I correct?

I was just there and bought a touch plate !! I knew i should of waited, Jason my man is helping me out with an issue I'm having shout to your support staff !!
Question: so you can put the bit/EM anywhere in that squared off area correct? the probe figures out the center for you it doesn't matter if its a V-bit or Upcut/dpwncut Endmill just put it somewhere in that square and probe or do you have to put it over the sienci logo as well ? thanks in advance

Interesting innovation to a genuine irritant issue. Will this only ever be a Sienci-specific probe due to the software calculations or is there a plan to release similar probe modules to other CNC vendors or an SDK?

Is this available for an Inventables X-Carve Pro using Easel pro? If not will it be someday and when?

I tried to use the auto zero using these very steps and it ended up dragging my bit across the surface of the plate. It's got a scratch in it now. What could I have dine wrong? I filled these steps exactly and it still failed.

I am getting alarms for soft limits I do have the sensors installed. Why would using the touch plate give me soft limit alarms?

Can you use the touch plate Z axis setting to find the high spot on a piece of wood, such as a resawn slab that is warped?

Not all bits, or correct me if I am wrong but diamond drag could not be done here because there is no interconnected vibration dectector right?

interesting ive been using my vbit with the original touch plate but ive been using easel so the xy has to be manually zeroed anyways
