Why Qui-Gon Jinn Secretly DISLIKED the Jedi - Star Wars Explained

In Star Wars the Phantom Menace - Qui-Gon Jinn was introduced to us as the Jedi Master who defied the council rules and therefore was not on the council itself. There was more to his defiance, in which he actually disliked the Jedi Temple rules in how they trained their new jedi younglings into jedihood from Obi-Wan Kenobi's point of view.
I think this is why Qui-Gon made Obi-Wan promise to train the boy, because he knew he'd do it his way, instead of the council's.

What if Anakin *did* "take a seat"?

By that I mean, when Mace Windu says "Take your seat, young Skywalker." what If Anakin just Force levitated a seat and walked right out of the Council Chambers with it? I can just imagine Padmé coming home after a long day at the Senate and seeing Anakin sitting in his new chair. staring at him perplexedly as he responds:

"What? Master Windu told me to "take my seat" so I did."

I think Luke Skywalker’s Jedi order in the expanded universe was near from qui gon’s point view, luke let the younglings to take their own paths in the force, and the marry was allowed, and he didn’t create a Jedi council for many years ..

Qui-gon was also one of my favorite characters. I always love the strong but loving father figures such as Optimus Prine or Aslan (relatedly).

I don’t think he would have joined Dooku. Even if he had his problems with the Council and how things were taught by others, he would never go so far as to wage war against his fellow Jedi. Let us not forget that Qui-gon was the Cassandra of the saga, who foresaw the dark side rising and believed Anakin was the one responsible for stopping it. Whereas Dooku was at least partially motivated by Sidious playing up his already existing distrust of the Jedi Coucil. Qui-gon would never fall to the manipulations of the very evil he prophesied.

Qui-Gon is one of my faves too. He saw the Jedi as too restrictive. Never teaching how negative emotions are to be acknowledged then dealt with. Plus most of the Jedi misinterpret the Jedi code thinking they shouldn't have any emotions at all. Whereas Qui-Gon thought that all emotions should be acknowledged and taught how to deal with negative emotions

Always loved Qui-Gon. Any time he was mentioned, I always got chills, even during Episode 2 and 3—but especially in more recent things like Clone Wars, and From a Certain Point of View.
