When I canter It’s hard to think about your hips and stuff I’m just thinking about if I fall off 😆

I rode a horse and he tried to canter which i had never done before, i panicked and ended up falling off onto my stomach, this video really helped me to understand how to position myself and what rhythm i must go at, thanks!

When I cantered for the first time I seemed to accidently lean forward a bit which made my horse uneven and now I watched this video it helped me

I was bouncing way to much before I found this video, I’ve been trying to sit my canter for months. I took your tips into consideration and finally sat my canter!! Thank you so, so much.

Very helpful as I just stiffen up and lean back. This has helped me learn what to aim for visually!

My trainer was never capable of telling me what am I doing wrong and why. I had to figure it out by myself and when I realised I’m leaned back I didn’t know how to solve it until I came across you. Thanks a lot!

I like that you tell what you can do to fix the problems outside the riding lesson. My riding teacher tells me what I’m doing wrong but not what I could do to fix it

I have two problems with canter🤔
1. I don't know how to start canter from the right leg(for the horse)
2. I sometimes lose my stirrups

I had those problems at the last stable I went to ride and it honestly was a terrible place for both learners and the horses couldn't go into paddocks and had to be in stalls all day unless they went to one of the "classes" and then there they wouldn't behave well ☹️ The trainers weren't very good either, so I'm searching for a new stable but also trying to understand my own mistakes. Really grateful I found this channel♥️

Today I cantered for the second time ever and I fell off the horse. I was too tense which caused me to lose my strength, my body got tired and I just flew. But I love the feeling of being in canter and I can't wait for my next class.
Thank you for this video as it shows perfectly how the tension in my body led me to bouncing too much, getting tired and in the end losing my balance.

Thank you so much I'm gonna try this in my next lesson! I struggle with bouncing and moving my arms to much and sometimes I also lean back

After watching this I realized that when I first started cantering I leaned back too much and my legs were going everywhere, but this video really helped me and I improved without even realizing it over time.

I had my first canter yesterday and it was amazing, I lost control during the transition but got it back during the canter. I did feel like my but was off of the horse a lot of the time so thank you for this video I'll apply this to my next lesson ☺️
