Really great job! -U DONT HAVE TO TAKE THIS TIP- but I think before u ask for the canter u could sit in trot then ask for canter js to make the horse more aware u want to go into canter ❤

Wow that was very good! A thing that has helped me to canter is to, move your hips with the canter! It Helps you to stay right into the saddle! Making sure you won’t fall ❤️

Cantering is so rough you did great!
I fell off and semi permanently bruised my tail bone and having my back things collide together falling on a stick about 4-5 years ago and couldn’t ride after that.
Now i have really bad social anxiety but im working up to mentally be able to ride again because my back is doing ok now

I just started today and did a walk around the arena and then she taught me how to steer and how to stop my horse❤ any tips are much appreciated

It’s gonna get easier when you get used to it also a little tip is sit down when trying to get to canter because if you keep posting he’s confused if you want him to keep trotting or if you want home to canter also I don’t know if it’s a mare or a gelding so I just said he hopes this helps but great job!

(Small tip)
You should raise your right heel up as such a deep heel will cause ligament issues and bad pain in the future (also if your heels are too far down balance can be hard no hate tho keep riding!) ❤❤

when asking for canter, sit back on the saddle and kick or squeeze, and let them go forward.

Just a tip someone on my channel commented this but if you want to get your horse into a canter right away (which you should) try a sitting trot it helps a lot ❤️
