Hi Nate, my name is Bobby Janiec and I'm the spokesman for Bar's Leaks, your video got forwarded to me this morning. I've shared it with our upper management team, and it has been passed through our company. We are still family owned, so when a customer takes the time to show our products being used correctly we certainly appreciate it. I will be following up with you on Facebook but just wanted to stop by your page and say great job on this. I look forward to speaking with you more.

With ANY of these products, I recommend shaking for 2 minutes, pre-mixing them thoroughly with coolant first, and the coolant system must be clean / full and above radiator level, add to the recommended coolant filling point in the system, which is sometimes not into the radiator itself! It could be into a filling point or reservoir tank.

Also keep in mind you are buying yourself time only, may last weeks or years, but you should have a plan for the vehicle to either eventually dispose of it, replace radiator/heater core etc. or pull the heads, and fix the actual issue mechanically. With a HG leak you may have contaminated oil also, so it needs to be dropped (possible fuel/coolant), and a coolant change is also not a bad idea later a few thousand miles later. Starting from a cold engine is also usually fine, but follow the instructions. Fast idle for 15-20 minutes then take for gentle drives. For a modern head-gasket, they are designed to expand and contract to match the metals of the engine components and keep a seal, when that fails, it will take time for the sodium-silicate mix to get deep in there and plug the issue, you may have to keep topping up coolant etc. for a while. Ensure your coolant mix ration is correct at ALL times, or you will boil off coolant etc. or otherwise overheat the engine.

Experience with these. Ford 6cyl inline Windsor motor HG issue, a similar product sealed that and I had a few years of hard driving out of it. Also another car, but the saga is not over yet, but appears to be holding, K-Seal did not hold longer than a few days unfortunately so I'm guessing the leak is quite bad.

Issues like failing water pumps / thermostats etc. are clearly not going to be fixed by this and need to be swapped out if appropriate, which is cheap to do. Rebuilding an engine, and servicing heads is a very expensive exercise. A severe headgasket/heater coil/radiator leak is NOT going to be resolved by these products, it's just reality, a radiator is a relatively cheap fix and can be repaired/replaced. These products have their place when you're in a pinch when the issue is not too far advanced.

Bought this today. Over 20 years I've never been able to get anything to ever stop a leak on a radiator even a pin hole leak. Mine had a pretty decent leak almost immediately the leak was stopped. Your experiences May differ but it is worth testing it out. I will use this product Forever.

Have used Bars radiator stop leak in a 99 Suburban. 3 years and 40k miles and it is still holding. Used Bars Head Gasket Stop leak in my 04 Outback. 2 months and 6k miles and runs perfect. Super great stuff in my book. Thanks Bars!!!

The cut in the video at 1:39 really inspires confidence.

Do I need to flush it out of the cooling system after the leak stopped?

Dude love that stuff it took about 4 hours to seal a 8in crank in my uncle's 7.3 turbo diesel but it's never leaked again

yup, used the silver one on a 96 jeep grand with 5.2L. The freeze plugs were weaping a bit and the heater core was fogging up the window.. Seems to have worked well. Frist drive sealed up most everything and by the next day we were as watertight as a frogs.. you know what. lol

I can speak for a different product by the name of Bar's Permanent head gasket fix. My Honda's oil analysis would always incate that coolant seaps into the engine oil but after using the bar's leak, the coolant slowed down the seapage drastically that it lowered potassium and sodium in my used oil analysis. unfortunately, i recently got another oil analysis and the seapage is back. I am currently using this Liquid Copper but i wont really know if it is working yet until i do my next oil analysis. From experience, these products do work but only temporarily. I know Bar's has a top of the line head gasket sealer that supposedly has carbon fiber but it is quite expensive.

The two-part formula is the best. It has two separate bottles connected. Half of it is blue the other half is silver. I will get back to you with the name. But it fixed completely blown out freezer plugs. If it wasn't for this stuff I would have had to pull the engine.

Bro, the copper blocked your tube at the glass reservior and nothing was being pumped to the radiator.
