As a Christian, I really believe there is a spirit of deceit, hate and deception that has been working its way through the church for some time now. I know this isn’t the place or forum for such ideas to be taken seriously, but I don’t know how else to explain what’s happening on a spiritual level.

The sensible explanation, of course, is these people are victims of a failed education system combined with a lack of media literacy and the time or determination to fact check their beliefs.

Either way, it’s extremely sad and leaves our nation vulnerable and at risk for not only losing our democracy but for other nefarious attacks and assaults, as well.
