I’ve been a conservative voter for 40-years. I didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 (wrote in Romney) because I despise everything Trump is. I voted for Biden in 2020 (and sent money to his campaign) and will vote for Harris (and have sent money to her campaign) this fall. Had the GOP nominated a mainstream conservative who publicly and unequivocally disavowed the “stolen election” lie and also disavowed Trumpism, I would have voted for the GOP candidate. I will not vote GOP again until Trumpism and its hate, hysteria, histrionics, insurrection, and utter nonsense is purged from the party.
