Grand Staircase Escalante / Cottonwood Canyon Road / Yellow Rock Overlook / Of Trail Hiking ~ UT

Join me as I hike to some obscure rock near Yellow Rock, along Cottonwood Canyon Road, in Grand Staircase Escalante, Utah; During the Covid-19 Pandemic and shut-down in the spring of 2020, I found myself having to shelter-in-place in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument, Utah. Recreational areas in all the counties around me had been closed to camping and recreation, and I pretty much had nowhere to go. So I camped along Cottonwood Canyon Road for a few weeks. Since the popular trails were also closed, even here, I was in the enviable position of having to find places to hike that very few people experience.

Roxy we all love the natural areas you show and appreciate it.
