Was looking at this after removing the manifold multiple times trying to look for a vacuum leak but this video made me realize i had crossed the two wires coming through the manifold . Thanks for the video

Just did it, I cussed more than I have all year. I broke the brittle pcv hose, but autozone carries it, Dorman 917-125.
Hardest part was releasing all the hoses that were stuck

Great video which helped me change the starter on E60 LCI ND72.
I have a solid steel pipe maybe 1 inch diameter with a flange at the back that had to be split before the manifold would move. I gave up removing the manifold when one of the pipes had cooling fluid in as I did not want to drain the coolant. I found removing the red cable to the jump lead terminal made reassembly a little easier. Replacing the starter with the manifold in place reminded me of working on Mini’s in the late 60’s. I don’t think I would ever get it down to 7 minutes though.

Love the more direct title of your videos Dean! The click bait-ey titles make it hard to refind the video if I need to search for it.

I find the more straightforward titles, that tells us exactly what the video is about, are the ones folks normally search for and get higher views.

It took me 1.5 hours to remove the intake manifold on e85/n52, I removed the junction box, I wasn’t aware it didn’t have to be removed. Thank you again for great content.

Just picked up a 56 plate 325i E92. Engine code N52B25A, does this have the 3 stage manifold? Been looking online and it’s mostly American forums saying their 325i doesn’t have it but apparently EU cars did?

I changed my boost solenoid 3 times because my 2011 BMW 335i coupe keeps cutting out under full throttle and sometimes it’ll throw me into stupid mode as well. PLEASE HELP HELP HELP. I am frustrated and overwhelmed with this I had a BMW master tech look at it for months and he couldn’t figure it out!!! Im on MHD Stage 2+ with 93 octane pump gas only with full bolt ons and either a stock turbo or vargas level one or vargas level 2 turbo, the previous owner couldn’t prove to me that he swapped the turbo so I think its stock. GOD HELP ME im so close to ditching this piece of shit and driving it into a wall!!!!

Can you clean the cvc out the cvc system . And do n52b25 only have 1 disa cheers.

The starter on my 525i has suddenly stopped working after a loud grinding noise, now it just spins but does nothing. I am about to embark on the removal of the intake manifold according to your very useful guide, big thanks for that. I went to remove the strut braces and the torx screws wont come loose, I used a long wrench with the torx head that seemed to fit perfectly and they just became rounded. Do you think there is a chance of removing the intake without removing the braces or is it totally impossible? Thanks for your help

I also need to replace my manifold as it's causing misfires and lots of white smoke! It is my daily and don't want to risk trying this myself and messing up things. Can you help me Doc?
