Samsung Galaxy S6 vs. HTC One M9!

I believe the HTC One M9 is a better phone FOR ME. I use my phone as an all-out media device. Love having tons of music and movies. So, no microSD card slot killed it for me. I refuse to be limited in my storage, I hear a 2TB SD has worked with the M9. Its a terrible feeling needing to delete stuff you want to make room for something else. BoomSound equals better music and movie sound for me. Also, Sense > TouchWiz any day, IMHO. I had the GNote4 and TW is such an ugly skin. Lastly, I never take pictures with my phone unless there's a really special occasion. Camera underperformance bothers me, but not really. Using the adaptive fast charger with my M9 too. I would have liked a 2K display though. But 1080 looks good to me and coming from the Note 4, I can't tell a substantial difference (I only switched because of size). S6 is a great phone, but being a music/movie junkie I had to choose the M9.

I got my M9 2 days ago and I have to say.. people are so dramatic these days lol this M9 is a good phone, does everything I want it to, it looks sharp, camera takes some getting used to but its taking decent pics (there is room for improvement though) and its super snappy! First moment I took it to the sprint shop, they all crowded around my beautiful phone with the oldest guy telling me how much snappier the M9 is than the S6 he was trying out earlier out and looking at its beautiful two tone scheme (silver/gold) he said I need to buy one lol its a good phone, not as gimmicky or insane as other phones currently but this works in the real world for adults

I have hated samsung the past 2 years but the galaxy s6 metal band is significantly different to the iphone 6, the galaxy s6 has flattened sides and a much more bulky corners where as the iphone is a single curve all the way around making the iphone as slipperier as soap in water. The glass back really, your going to say they copied a phone 2-3 years old now?!?!? grasping at straws. what do you want them to do??? metal unibody? apple copy, glass back? apple copy, plastic back? not premium.

I have a m8 and I think it looks better than the m9. I hope Htc comes out with something bigger and better or I will switch to the 2015 nexus or Galaxy note 5.

About time Samsung picked up their game. Now if only they'd launch the GS6 or GS6 Edge with stock android and promised fast updates...

I still prefer the overall experience of the M9.... The exterior still looks amazing (S6 is an improvement but looks unoriginal and uninspiring to my eyes) and the software is well...not 'Touchwizy'.

The UI is the prime reason why I'd choose a HTC over a Samsung. The cartoonist design of touchwiz is a major turnoff. I think if you combined the back of the One series phones with the front of this year's S6 edge and the HTC boomsound speakers you'd have the best looking phone of all time. (M7 user not upgrading this year, until smartphones get a huge battery increase what's the point?)

I hate to say it, but I'd go with the S6. The S2 was an android game changer, Htc one M7 redefined android, and the S6 is changing the game yet again. Hopefully the M10 will redefine android again.

The problem is the principle experience with the phone is the software and Sense is just a much smoother and better experience than TW, even if it's improving. Therefore, there's no way I'd jump ship simply because the camera is slightly more sharper. Also once you experience boomsound speakers its very difficult to go back.

Yea really -_- non removable glass back (iphone = non removable), choices of gigs it comes with hmmmm oh wait (iPhone gigs tier), oh lets no forget bottom speakers (iPhone speakers on bottom) and finger scanner -_- hmmmm again (iPhone) gasp this must be a "iSamsung" that's it huh? Psh I once respected Samsung for being original and a leading Android making phone company that was able to compete with the iPhone but now I might as well get a iPhone -_-

I've tested both phones in store and Touchwiz still sucks, still bloaty even its is less..the camera is better on s6 but in normal use only slightly....burst mode is also faster on s6 but the difference between 30 and 25 frames in 5 seconds...you won't notice the difference..the s6 still seems like they want you reaching all the way across the screen for one thing or another....use it right handed and sure the app drawer is closer but your recent apps are all the way on the left and vice versa for left handers....just feels like a chore... So if you are used to stock or stock-ish android the M9 should feel normal...if you are looking for the best audio experience to date, you will want the M9... They took the boomsound to the next level and if you want to have a better then "iPhone" audio experience then don't bother with the lookalike s6... Both phones when loaded with custom or google now launchers fly fast as hell so if touchwiz or sense aren't your thing then it really boils down to camera, glass, and netflix for a year or audio, metal, and free one time replacement for a year and if not used get $100 credit towards next years model.... Your choice.

you guys are so unfair in your review. sense is way better even tough  touch whiz improve. if the M8 sold well so will the M9 with its improvement. stop your slighted review or say this is your own opinion
