The HTC One M9 looks rather impressive, I may finally upgrade (I am currently running off a Droid Bionic that is approaching 4 years old).

Currently have the S5. From my experience with the S3, S4, and S5, I'm not getting another S phone anytime soon. I absolutely hate Touchwiz. I have to root to personalize it and make it look nice. Going to try out the M9 just because it seems like the better phone so far. The expandable memory and removable back just has me hooked.

Great analysis of each phones. I am more than convinced now to upgrapde from my old HTC One M7 phone to the new old HTC One M9. Thank you once again for the breakdown of each phones it definately made it easier for me to make my decision.

I have a M7 and after watching both HTC and Samsung's press events I was disappointed in the M9, and I was interested in the Galaxy S6 Edge.

splendid comparison Ed, i personally like the build of the s6, finally upgraded to metal, but the m9 looks like a really good phone, hard to tell from a video, but i would lean towards m9

I choose HTC one M9 I been using their phone since the HTC one m7 and I love the feeling of the phone while holding it and I'm happy that battery life has improved so I can't wait for the new M9 to come out

S6 Edge because it's a monster! Best camera, best screen, best processor, fastest internal storage, only downside is no microSD but internal storage is so monster that it makes up for it.

As an M8 owner, I think i'll go for the  S6. The M9 just doesn't impress me beside its camera. Other than that, it's more like an M8s to me :)

At 1:37, you show the S6 has an LCD3 screen and say it has a 'Super Aloid" screen. I thought the S6 has a Super AMOLED screen.

I have had an HTC M7 and am not giving HTC another chance after living with that horrible camera and sloppy assembly quality. The S6 looks to be the best phone of all time. Qhd screen, metal body, glass front and back, high mp camera with optical image stabilization, wireless charging, advance wireless payment options, larger screen yet smaller in all dimensions except width than M9, leaner/faster (I hope) OS. Wow.

HTC really missed an important moment. This is the "Post iPhone6" period and you either wow us or fade away. The M9 is basically the same as the M8 with only the camera as the significant change. I have already heard low light performance is "not pretty" on the M9.

I can't wait to get an S6!

I'll have to go with the HTC M9. Clearly wins. I just hate that there has been no phone that'll just make go "wow." No "wow factor" now a days. I guess we're reaching a point in which we really won't see any noticeable differences.

At first I didn't like the way they took the removable battery and the sd slot..but now that I know they start of at 32gb I don't mind prefer to have a much better feel and look..I love how now you have the press for finger scan..sliding didn't work so well..

I've never had a Samsung phone before.  I currently have an HTC One and I've loved it since it came out.  I always looked down on Samsung phones because Touch Wiz was so ugly and laggy and never thought I would ever get one.  But that S6 Edge looks like a Ferrari with the glass back.  It has sleek and stylish lines.  Plus the new fingerprint reader, DDR4 RAM and Exynos Processor, and Samsung Pay with MST are enough to get over to the dark side.  I've been an HTC guy for the past 2 years, I was an iPhone guy for 5 years before that.  I'll never get an iPhone again.  I still got love for HTC and the new M9, but they need to step up to the current consumers needs a little bit more.  Get a fingerprint reader like the one that iPhone and now Galaxy s6 have.  That MST payment feature is amazing.  Get that too.  And don't ever lose those front firing speakers and expandable storage.  Those are must haves.

Personally I'm in love with the samsung galaxy s6....b'coz they put everything upgraded in that device. I'm pretty sure that this will not disappoint anyone. Great processor; gr8 camera; gr8 design;gr8 display. Every thing is in that phone.so I'm very excited

Originally I thought that the M9 was the much better phone but after watching your most recent speedtest and seeing that the m9 is in most cases even slower than the M8, I think differently now.
