Gta 5 install PS4 fix (disc)

Now. Before anything I would like to make sure that everyone knows and undestand that this might not work for you. I just got tired of deleting everything over and over again. I tried this offline installment. Didn't work. So I decided to try and clean the disk when it reached 4 % progress at install. Very pleased to see that it worked. This took me forever and a lot of cursing. Eventually I made it. Best of luck to everyone.

THIS IS A LEGIT FIX

1. TAKE OUT GAME
2. DELETE THE GAME OF YOUR CONSOLE
3. PUT GAME BACK IN
4. CANCEL INSTALL OF UPDATE 1.23
5. START APP
6. SHOULD GO UP BY 1% EVERY 50 seconds

This is how you do it:
Remove the game
Then delete the application
Disconnect from internet
Then put the game back in and the game itself should download. Also if you want the GTA to install faster put it in rest mode

I was doubting it so hard! And it actually worked I was stuck on 3% and it quickly went up to 23 thanks so much new sub!

I was stuck at zero percent for some time then I cleaned my disc with glasses handkerchief and after that when I put my disc to Playstation it started with seven percent. Nice video man, keep up the good work!

Mine is stuck on 4%Plus sometimes it gives me an error where it dosent let me start the program

"Take it out"
Uh huh...
"Clean it"
It's.... perfectly clean but okay
"Put it back in"
Okay....
"It should jump up"
ALL IT DOES RESTART BACK AT ZERO

Updated 2019 fix
Take out disk
Delete game
Put disk in
Go to notifications and pause any updates
Click on game and put instal without update
You can update the stuff after

Having this problem in 2020. Disconnect your internet from your ps4 and the % will start moving. I was stuck at 3% and I closed app, disconnected my internet then went on the game and it went up to 7% right away. So now it’s actually installing.

Thanks for all the replies. I am trying to help as much as possible. If this fix doesn't work, try some of the other fixes here on youtube. This one worked for me.

My opinion on this whole situation:
Rockstar messed up with this one. I have no idea what the problem actually is, but this is ridiculous. They take no responsibility what so ever for trying to fix this problem either. Very bad. Some of us are genuine fans and have followed the GTA-series since GTA started as a franchise. Very poor treatment of the whole situation and us all after buying the game.

Mine gets to 15% and then that stupid blue screen”dirty disc” pops up

Thank you so much! i was stuck on 3% for a day +. and cleaned the disc with the steam of my breath and wiped with a towel and it automatically went to 6% moving up.. 👌

IT'S A EASY FIX !!


Once your on the installation screen and it's stuck on whatever percentage And You get the error message that says something like " Disc Damaged Remove Disc" I forgot but, Do not listen to that message .... You have to put your PS4 Into "REST MODE" Turn it back on, Go inside the application, while it's still on the install screen, Your GTA will start installing more, you should get the message again from there but keep putting your system into " REST MODE " Over And Over It SHOULD WORK !!
