Indian Railways Friendly Staff, Jodhpur - Jaisalmer 3AC Train

India is a MASSIVE country, and one of the best ways to get from place to place is by train. We hopped on the class 3AC train from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer which was a very pleasant surprise! The 3AC class was a big step up for the general class trains we have got in the past here in India, and the super friendly and welcoming staff made the journey all the more enjoyable!

For experience, it's okay but avoid general class. For comfortable journey on Indian trains, 2AC is preferable as you get decent space especially for travellers like you with lots of luggage. Bedsheet and linens are part of your ticket price when you travel AC class. In some specific trains, ticket price will be inclusive of food too (you can check out at the time of reservation as options are given) Hope you will enjoy rest of your time in India (preferably on trains)

As a tourist myself I gotta say that AC3 feels like a 5* hotel when your only previous experience of Indian trains is General or Sleeper Class. Love the bedding packet. Gets nippy in the night sometimes but that’s good in May!
