My longest train journey was in Yesvantpur- Muzaffarpur express(15227). It took me around 53 hours- a very long and tiresome but fascinating journey. I got to see varied landscapes, from the plateaus and eastern ghats in the south to coastal Odisha and rural West Bengal. I liked how we can observe different landscapes, people and their culture and food while traveling in Indian Railways. Long journeys become even more interesting due to these. My longest train journey was on 05653 Amarnath Express.
It was from New Alipurduar -- Jammu Tawi. It was a journey of 2169 km .And I really enjoyed that journey....😃
And as a Rail Fan, I want to do more long train journeys....
