Actually, I heard that Mexico made their own Spider-Man comics. When the company that translated Marvel comics over there found out that Gwen (who was VERY popular in Mexico) dies, they immediately started making their own comics and had Peter save her instead.

This kind of makes me want to see a more apathetic and ruthless Peter Parker variant (kind of like Evil Gwenpool). A Peter that’s seen the countless rounds of BS the multiverse throws at him, one that’s tired of falling victim to Fate/the writers’ relentless torture of his character, and one that finally gives in to Green Goblin’s words: “The one thing they love more than a hero is to see a hero fail, fall, die trying.”
