The reactions of other people to the John and Green joke will forever be my favorite thing on this channel.

John has been doing the Beatle/color thing for years now and somehow it works every time

"Thanks for coming to my party" is the best response to that ever.

The worst part about the Beatles/colour thing is that I somehow, , , FORGET IT EVERY TIME?? So when we get hit with John/Green I go through these stages of realisation, exasperation, amusement and disappointment in myself

John's time in the Netherlands has finally given us Dutch angles in vlogbrothers videos

I swear the nerdfighteria is so deeply engrained in my life that I sometimes forget John is literally SO famous. I’ll be like “there’s our goofball dad doin his delightful goofball thing over there” and then he’s doing photo shoots with Cara Delevingne🤣

A person could go in knowing absolutely nothing about the book, nothing about the movie, but just seeing five minutes of Cree’s energy and enthusiasm will make you want to see the film. So excited.

Cree is precious and must be protected at all costs.

She seems perfect for the role! I love that you can tell John is just beaming about the movie and the experience.

I burst out laughing in agreement when she quipped she felt 'betrayed' by you, as one of the few higher-profile introverts, posting lots of outdoor content lately lol

Cree is AWESOME!
“Let’s move on.” Lol.

Just occurred to me that if John writes another YA book about teens, even in the relatively near term, its screen adaptation would almost certainly star people born *AFTER* Looking for Alaska was published. 😳

I love John's explanation that he let Cree do the outro at the end, just in case we missed the change in who was delivering the line.

I've just finished reading Turtles, one important insight I learned: The reason for Aza's lack of curiosity about Daisy, or anything else, is because there's almost no room for curiosity. The constant barrage of intrusive thoughts, their spiralling simply leaves very little room for the world outside of her head. It's one hell of a noisy prison, her brain is a prison because of the noise. And sadly, it can be mistaken by others as her being too into herself to care.
Our society inundates us with noise, with information that's not useful for the most part, leaving us with almost no room for the kind of curiosity that enriches our lives. Some of us like Ava may need medication and cognitive behavioral therapy. Most of us need to change our habitual addictions to the internet, social media, to drama...
We need to find ways to make room for life.

I love her hair so much that I would literally rip off my own in order to protect hers from the rain.

Cree is an absolute delight, I'm not saying we should definitely re-cast John's character but like... maybe? Dear Hank and Cree, the Vlogbuddies, The Fault in Our Stars by Cree Green.

Cree's honesty in how seriously the cast and crew are taking their assignment in bringing Turtles to a new medium has me really, really excited for the work they're doing. It's so nice.
