What is the Difference between a Contactor and Reversing Contactor and How do They Work?

How do you wire a 3 phase motor to a single phase .

base on your demonstration you have only stop and start push button...how do you operate in reverse or forward the motor if only stop and start push button switch that you will use?its better to use a 3pole selector switch or stop, reverse, forward push button, to control the motor in forward reverse operation and to stop the motor manually.

Actually there is not any difference on contactors, the difference its on the wiring setup

Is this a star connection? I thought there should be at least 3 contactors to run a motor, main with overload, star and delta?Hmm..
