As promised today I’ll teach you Spanish words and phrases to use with patients. Español is a growing language in the U.S. and being bilingual also helps on resumes and interviews, plus, you can make more money! 😱
So now that I’ve told you why you should learn Spanish, let’s talk about some common phrases to practice with your patients such as “Do you have pain?” which translates to “Tiene dolor?”
This will be helpful to anyone from a pre-PA, PA student, or a Cardiology PA. But also cardiologist, doctor, medical student or nurse

Do you have pain?
¿Tienes dolor?

Do you cough up blood?
¿Tose sangre?

Do you faint?
¿ Se desmaya?

Do your legs swell?
¿Se hinchan sus piernas?

Do you feel palpitations?

Corazon = Heart
Respiracion = Respiration
Fatiga = Fatigue
Cardiologo = Cardiology
Mareo = Dizzy
Pecho = Chest
Valvula = Valve
Arteria = Arterie
Vena = Vein
