Thank you so much for explaining. This is the first time I understand the concept of this method. Only with no nurse bees they will not swarm, no this method makes sense to me.

I didn't even know that it existed
I'm glad that I learned about it here!

I need to take your course. Just caught my 5th swarm of the year. I did splits but they still swarmed. Need to better locate my queens. All these swarms are my own colonies

It's like the demarre method with doors!!! Can I use my inner top cover with exit holes if I don't have that one? Just cover the hole in the middle with a screen???

If you move off 2 deeps with brood, add a empty deep, add queeen and resources along with 8 drawn used frames. Box 1 original minus 2 . You put 2nd deep with brood and nurse bees above the snell board and covered it. What do you do with the remaining 8 frames of brood from the 2nd original deep when adding the drawn frames to the queen box? Doesn’t seem to add up to me or did I miss something after reviewing it several times.

Hello David. Thanks for this awsome video.

Is it possible that at 10m05, you made a mistake by opening the BOTTOM opposite door (as seen in the video) and saying that you open the TOP door? You surely said the right thing but do the wrong door (If I saw correctly the opened door), if I'm not mistaken because the upper bees need a way to get out of the upper box.

Thank you again for all those great videos. Awsome work!

Great video that makes the process simple, but if you only use the two doors why have the other four?

Hi David, I have a 2 deep hive that made it through the winter very well under your instructions. Thanks for that. I inspected it and I have a lot of brood in the bottom and the top is full of honey stores. What would you recommend at this point to do with it? Also I didn't see any queen cells.

Hi David! You have inspired me once again to try something new. I have a question about this. I use all medium boxes. If you were me, would you put one medium (with Queen) below the snelgrove board and two above the honey super? I always come out of winter with three mediums. Thank you for your wisdom!

Hello David. I used this method this year but my colony still swarmed. What could I done wrong? If I missed a swarm cell in the 2 bottom frames would they still swarm? I also shook a few additional nurse bees into the bottom box. Could that of been the reason they swarmed? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

DOES THIS METHOD WORK BETTER OR WORSE THAN THE DEMAREE METHOD? IF I HAVE THIS CORRECT, WITH SNELGROVE I END UP SPLITTING DEMAREE JUST SWARM CONTROL? THANKS
