chevy aveo stuck rear brakes (how to)

chevy aveo stuck brake rotor? heres how to fix this problem. Spray wd40 where the bearings mount on the spindle, let sit overnight, then follow the video as shown. stuck drum will release quickly.

I had a guy that wanted his brake shoes thickness checked for roadworthy inspection.... Struggled an hour trying to get drum off....so i gave up Finally found a little rubber insert on the backplate which i removed to check the shoe thickness and it was At least now i know the bloody hub nut must come off also lol ...first time seeing such a design...for future reference.... thanks man 😂

There is a tool available at any auto parts store called a hammer driver. It is a screwdriver end on it and you smack it with a hammer it uses the force of the hit to break it loose without stripping the screw

Maybe this has abs but the one I worked on you could take the drum off without removing the center nut or cap.

Is it necessary to remove the middle bolt or can it come off without removing it ?

My aveo has 2 philips head screws in the drum (maybe because It's for the European market) which are stuck and I cant get them out. Any advice?

My inner bearing didn't come off with the hub...what do I do?

what is that that came out when he took the drum apart? Was it a disc brake? Yes, this is a lady. lol

What size socket do you use for the nut? says 23mm however looks alot bigger than that.
I have a 2004 Suzuki Swift (same idea as the aveo)
