I think one of the first times I really felt like wow was in a downward spiral was in cata when they tried to tune up the difficulty of dungeons. But since everyone was used to facerolling dungeon finder at this point, instead of embracing it and killing mobs in order etc people got upset. And we haven't seen challenging dungeons since.

This video is essentially my general opinion even I overall enjoyed MoP a lot more than Cata, but Legion was essentially almost this guise of me thinking "Wow they've got it on track again." that I actually had faith in BfA and hoo boy, how far we've gone downhill since.

Yall can disagree with me all ya want but i think MoP was the most fun xpack out of all. Had amazing raids, the classes where amazing and an overall great xpack.

MoP class design was the peak of WoW and I don't think we will ever get to that level of fun ever again.

Tbh MoP was a really good expac. I never made it into the super end-game content because I was still very casual about the game, but its zones were beautiful, dungeons were fun, raids were interesting, and the story was cool.

MOP was one of the best expansions for both PVE and PVP.

Legion would be first for me and then WOTLK. I would place them both at #1 evenly, but what sets legion apart for me is how they made every class feel like the most important class in the game with it's class halls and everything. You feel like you're the hero the game needs, and combined with multiple artifact weapons and specializations that change up things entirely, it truly made me feel like I was the main character of azeroth for the first time, not just another nameless adventurer who tagged along with a bunch of other random people ^^

Legion was the best expansion ever. The magnificent zones of varying landscapes, Suramar city, the introduction of mythic+, the beautiful and perfectly challenging raids (except EN which despite being the weakest raid in the expansion wasn't too bad), the Mage tower challenges, Argus. And the class identity that we felt had never been replicated before, or since. If I had to point a few negatives it'd be one weak raid in EN, the broken shore zone, a few annoying dungeons like Arcway.

the first month shadowland drop, i heard great review everywhere. bought it, play for 3 month. pvp was ok and then 7 month NO UPDATE. uninstall retail and now i am happily playing gw2 clocking at 500 hours since uninstall shadowland.

Played as a youngin since TBC era, but Legion is where I first actually played the game seriously and got into group content. Obviously there is an investment bias as before WoD I would really just level random leveled alts and run around. But legion was bar none the most fun I had in world of Warcraft. Just doing heroic and slight mythic might hold with my guild was so incredibly fun. So many laughs and good moments. Just putting my two since after seeing a few legion sucks comments than I’d like

BFA allied races are actually cool, the problem is to farm them is way boring. That's what actually killed that expansion.
