Once again everyone wants to know, how did Urius and his predictions for the Prem turn out this year. Well, not too great, maybe one of the worst ones yet. Lots of teams let me down, while others surprised us all. Pro tip: if you make no predictions at all, you can have a 100% accuracy rate.

Statistically you guys should be using root mean squared error (RMSE) rather than just adding the absolute differences between the predictions and actual results. RMSE punishes the higher errors considerably more which makes it a better indicator. Ideally a prediction difference of 20 (predicting champions and then team finishing last and vice versa) should immediately disqualify someone as a pundit, i.e. higher differences like that should be punished much higher. RMSE does exactly that and it will make these prediction rankings more accurate.

I dont blame you for picking chelsea for winners. I also felt similarly. Liverpool also won UCL and then went on to win PL on the back of the a great defensive showing in 18/19 (honestly think the most defensively compact weve been in the Klopp era. It was the year of the 2-1 Origi 90+3 LOL
