Here’s another lost cryptid specimen media: Ever heard of the Gabriel feather? This was a “rose-colored” feather said to be stored in a Spanish monastery called El Escorial due to it allegedly being from the wings of the archangel Gabriel. In reality, this feather was most likely from a species of bird, but its exact species is unknown. Theories of the feather’s origin range from a bird of paradise, a quetzal, a flamingo, a macaw, or even an unknown species that is now extinct.

Cryptid lost media is now my favorite type of lost media. Awesome video!

I remember seeing the longer Lake Champ video here in Youtube in the 2000s. It swam and passed by underneath their boat. I didn't know its being withheld by copyright lawyer. That explains why I could not find when I was looking for it some years back.

17:20 That's interesting. There's a book called "The Goblin Universe" which states a similar theory about these animals not quite being physical or from here.

I sense a pattern. It seem like any footage or evidence that could be the smoking gun for the existence for any of these creatures always somehow goes "missing" or "lost". What's going on here?

I saw the most convincing dogman video on youtube a while back, but haven't been able to locate it again. It was filmed by two young boys who were out late at night catching toads (this was their entire channel, which was comprised of only a couple videos). After a while, they see its eye shine when it begins to smile at them.

5:40 the idea of 2 random dudes from 1912 beating the shit out of an alligator with their barehands is both badass and a hilarious sight

I was really waiting for this one.
Very good and very interesting. I would love to see some of these lost footages. Indeed, the truth is scarier than fiction!

Great info! Love that you keep it real❣
In the Tier Five vid clip, there are many more Forest Dewllers in the woods. If you can zoom in, you'll see them moving! 👍✌

You did a fantastic job with this video. There are so many compelling examples of lost evidence, many I've never even heard of. I want to hunt each and every one of them down. lol Glad I could help you in a small way. You did inspire me, through asking about this topic, to dig into and write a bit about the Jersey Devil. I hope to have an article, possibly a video, ready to publish soon. Keep up the great work, and it's a pleasure to see your channel growing!

I've been searching for a book about monsters I remember from my childhood for over 20 years. Considering the topics you cover I think you or your viewers might be able to help.
It was a kids book about monsters from folklore, mythology and crypozoology. I read if in my elementary school library in the early 90s. The book itself looked like it was from the 80s or late 70s. It had very striking artwork that I remember vividly that I will describe below.

A large orange monster with an ugly human like head and 2 tails. It was bipedal like a t-rex.

A very butterfly looking mothman chasing a car down the road. The Mothman was blueish with red eyes.

A Chinese Wildman sitting on a pile of bones.

A werewolf transforming wearing a Roman toga.

A Dracula looking vampire.

A black and white picture of a hide-behind with a rams head.

Hercules fighting the hydra.

If anyone has any tips I'd appreciate them.

How tf is it so difficult to keep a specimen, like how can you loos a whole body of a monster

Thunderbirds could be surviving Argentavis. It's a stretch but it's the best fitting

There was a video on YouTube several years ago of to police officers or rangers whose dash cam recorded a chupacabra. You still may be able view it, IDK. It was quite stunning.

I want to scream "How could you be delivering an unknown specimen and just lose it???" but look at last Friday when some loser published a cybersecurity update that bricked almost a billion computers (especially computers in airports and hospitals). People are just stupid and don't take their jobs seriously. It's been that way for millenia.
