These pictures themselves aren’t scary, it’s the undiscovered exact reason WHY and HOW they exist

I can tell you that the teletubby picture isn't some sort of mystery. The teletubby costumes are real. My dad wore one on my 2nd birthday. My family still have a photo of it and apparently I cried as soon as I saw him 😂

What I love about humans is that they are both reluctant, yet entirely eager to believe in something greater than themselves... a perfect paradox.

It is actually totally normal to find stairs in the wilderness. When I was younger, I used to do long range hikes. Sometimes if you have a location that you can research, I almost always found information about a warehouse or factory that existed there. Stairs are just the strongest parts of the structure, so they are the last part that nature takes back when people stop using such places. Random fireplaces are common as well.

The first smile dog image is the "Still Bummed" album cover but edited. The 2nd image is the true image, made by the writer of the OG story to accompany the story. The third image is from a deviantart account

Love how the old era of the internet made such cursed images

honestly the saddest part about the teletubby one is that it is safe to assume this poor kid most likely was a long term patient concidering he has a bunch of stuff up on the walls. As to whether or not he made it we probably will never know, but the fact that the picture was used as part of a collage put up by the hospital itself, it is more likely he survived as I imagine hospitals tend to avoid using pictures of patients who have passed away in their any display that isn't intended for memorialzing

fun fact: I have a photo of myself as a toddler with teletubby mascots in those exact costumes! they weren't meant to be creepy, that's pretty much just how costumes looked in the 90s

The Mickey Mouse photo is actually Minnie Mouse, you can tell by the red and white spotted dress and the yellow heels, both of which Mickey doesn't have. Since the costume is completely messed up, it's likely the bow fell off.

I just love he get's right into it.
No intro, no long winded ramble, or whatever, nothing.
Just "alrighty here is the 'Rake' it sounds pretty scary huh?"

One thing to note about that Mickey Mouse photo is that boiler looks like it’s brand new so it’s probably not in an abandoned house.

I never imagined him exploring creepy images including cursed images

What makes these images scarier is that they exist before the AI era and when fake images or modifications couldn't be as realistic as they're now

I found the smile dog photos to be really silly and goofy, because I have a childhood memory of my dog stealing my grandma's false teeth

Smile dog was the first creepypasta I encountered over a decade ago, and the dark image still gives me the creeps. Uncanny yet so simple, it terrifies even not knowing the story behind it.

The fact that smile dog’s photos have almost zero background information just makes the Creepypasta more scary

I would laugh if the “Smile dog” black and white pictures were a dog that got ahold of somebody’s dentures.
