Alot of fans of this movie seemed to be concerned about what happened after he disappeared, if he was gone forever…. But remember what the old woman told her when she asked why when she turned her sister into a dog why the spell reversed itself so soon. And the old woman replied her spells at this stage were very very weak and they undo themselves, so I suspect he was fine.
