For the ppl against this: sending these packages to Ukraine actually helps our economy and our country in many ways.

1. Ukraine recieves barely any actual money. Most of it is weapons that we were about to have to (*pay*) to decomission. This way they get weapons, and we get to not pay to decommission them.

2. Sending weapons to Ukraine (where they are used in real combat) is basically advertisement of U.S. weapons to other countries. Other countries are already queuing up to buy our weapons. Sales to other countries means money.

3. The increased demand for weapons means an increased need for labor...a.k.a. sending these creates new jobs.

4. If Putin is able to expand, at a certain point this basically becomes a world war. Do we want to be Churchill or Chamberlain? And speaking of...if we wait too long on sending the necessary amount of aid we're going to end up having to send in our own troops rather than just aid packages. Let's please learn from the last world war.
