Terraria 1.2 Music - Snow

First world I ever created, my spawn was in a snow biome.  This song has been burned into my brain as the theme of my homeland.

Those bouncing kind of noises make me feel really happy, glad I live in a snow biome. Plus, marshmallows. Anyone who doesn't know, if your merchant lives in the snow, he sells marshmellows

0:26 This part hits hard for some reason, almost like the music is trying to say the snow biome use to be a peaceful spot but now is just a biome with full of demons and weird creature.

When I had the game I used to wait until dark, go to the snow biome and stand on top of a mountain, wait for 00:24 and just watch the mountains and sky. Really hit me deep as a kid. Really great game.

I love the atmosphere of the song so much. It starts out jolly and happy, much like any snow day. Then, around 0:40, it goes into a melody that you would here as if you were gathering resources. At 1:00, things take a dark turn. It’s night in the freezing snow, blood thirsty wolves out for hunting, and about as barren as the desert. The song has the qualities of a happy, morbid, and neutral melody. This unlike many songs in the game which are either happy or morbid, nothing in between.

My spawn (and house) is on the edge of a mountain biome and this frost biome, so I have 2 different songs in my house...
I like this song because it reminds me of the good old 2007 when techno music was popular. (In Serbia at least)

One of my best childhood memories is playing this late at night with my sister, and I just remember both our houses being in a snowy biome. This music brings back so many memories omfg

I have no real idea why, but this song is really nostalgic for me. I was a lot younger when I played this game for the first time to the last time (kind of), from 2015 to 2018. I was kind of a stupid kid and wasn’t very good at the game, but I had 3 really amazing friends that I still have to this day that played with me. I was always really scared of the crimson biome and deep underground, but they showed me the way and even got me some weapons that I thought were really amazing (just the blood cluster and a platinum bow lol) and I remember one time we found lava and we’re so excited that we died immediately by jumping in. It was a truly magical time for me.
Also the snow biome stuff, got a little off track 😂. We were staying in a hotel for a couple nights because we were still moving to our new house, which was pretty difficult because it was on an island with only one bridge to mainland, and I was just playing with my Terraria toys (idk why I had them I think it was a Christmas present or something) and playing the terraria tutorial (the music is so nostalgic, morning rain makes me sad lol) over and over for some reason, and I started my first real terraria world. I spawned under one of those grassy tunnel things and I closed off one half and made my base there. My NPCs lived in a little tower right above it. The crimson was immediately to the right of me, so I went left and found a snow biome. I didn’t build anything there, I just remember this one night of the road trip to our new house at night, I would just stay there killing an Eskimo zombie every once in a while. I can’t explain why this is so nostalgic, but it just is. Thanks for listening to my rant!
