I'm sad that there's no reference to "that sounded big" it would have been fun if there was a quote if the guide moved into the ice biome at night before deerclops is killed where he would say something like "Did you hear that? That sounded big..."

Ah, i really like this boss, the drops are cool and the attacks are unique. It also gives a really nice use for warmth potions pre-hardmode, as they reduce they damage in most of his attacks by quite a bit.

the way interpret it, it's not supposed to be a better version of the og theme from Don't Starve, but just a "refitted" version for Terraria specifically, because the overall vibe of the two games are just so drastically different

This theme, along with DS's version of Boss 1, are the only crossover themes to have ever made me grin like an idiot. Just the respect each game has for the other is so charming to see.

The way deerclops’ normal music is being warped and pixelated to fit terraria is so cool, it feels like the song is fighting to stay normal but it’s losing, with the violin trying to fit in with the pixel instruments and get its moments in the song is just soo cool

Deerclops makes you feel extremely vulnerable to it. You can't run away from it without flying or platforms in PHM. It's also big enough to be scary and not just some god monster. The music feels intense, cold, and a bit eerie at points. The monstrous black entity with a red eye deep within the forest of trees.
