How to Sync Audio & Subtitles - VLC Media Player Tutorial

A short tutorial on how to change the sound and subtitles delay to sync it with the image very easily.

here how to to save a synced sub
download the 'potplayer', open the video with it, load the subtitle, adjust the timing. then from subtitle options go to 'subtitle saving', press on 'Save SMI subtitle/Save subtitle as, , ' save it and when you load it back it gonna be synced :)

Useless, doesn't work. Saving the video still leaves you with the original audio sync problem.

synced the audio just fine, but when i convert/save, it just saves another video with the same UNsynced audio as before. am i missing something?

I've done exactly what you did in the video but mine isn't saving. I press convert/save and type in the name it shows nothing. I'm trying to sync subtitle to the video, any ideas?

thanks, didn't work for me bc the actual problem is that I wanted to cut a video with VLC and when I checked the new video the frames start to play slower and slower from a certain point while the audio is actually fine. it must be something with the processor..., pretty weird. Thanks anyway :D

Hey i got a question. My music files are all messed up. The names of my files in my music folder are letters and number but in VLC when i click on the fingerprint under media information it does all the work for me and finds the song name and artist and even the album cover. Awesome right well how do i rename the files in my music folder to the fingerprint information that VLC found for me
