I was debating on going to the gym and I felt lazy and on top of that it started raining my brain automatically used the rain as an excuse to not go but I quickly told myself why am I lying to myself the rain isn’t gonna hurt me or prevent me from going so I got up and got my ass over there never had a more intense workout 💪🏼💪🏼

Some people do lie when they are making excuses, but not all excuses are lies! For example i have a friend who asked me to play a game with him and i said: "No, i don't want to play", that's no lie. But if i said: "i have no time" that would be a lie, but at the same the more specific your excuses are the more likely it is the truth: "I don't have time at 18:00, but i could play at 20:00". So this statement of him seems strange, like he just wants to throw around buzzwords, but didn't do any reasearch. But acts like he is telling facts.
