Rating Fast Food Hamburgers

Recently, we roamed the streets for the best fast food crispy chicken sandwich. Ultimately, Popeyes took home the win, but there were a number of strong contenders. Now, we've set out to find the best fast food burger. Burgers come in so many different shapes and sizes (think hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bacon cheeseburgers, all the toppings) and from so many different places. In this video, we visit McDonald's, In-N-Out (kind of), Sonic, Burger King, Wendy's, Five Guys, and Shake Shack. Each has a very different burger, and I've looked critically at them all so that you never have to wonder who has the best burger again.

I’m from the UK, and we have only just gotten Wendy’s back here after a 23 year absence and personally I prefer it to any of the fast food chains in the UK by far. I kind of agree that maybe there isn’t much seasoning, but in the UK we don’t tend to eat a lot of salt compared to the US, the beef itself in burger just tastes far far meatier than something from McDonald’s and Burger King tends to be really dry.

Having worked at a McDonald’s mine restaurant actually did have quarter pounder meat that we would cook when ordered

Used to work at a McDonald's and I can absolutely confirm that the Quarter Pounder patties are cooked to order and made with fresh ground beef. They take 3 minutes to cook, which is why they may sometimes ask you to pull forward if it's busy. Quarter Pounders (and their variants) are the ONLY burgers at McDonald's to feature these patties thus far (your Big Macs come with "eighth" patties, which are 1/8 of a pound; definitely NOT the same, as these are frozen and prepped ahead). Hopefully this helps y'all in your burger choices as well! ^~^
