How To Reset Your PS5 Controller

Here's how to reset your PS5 controller in case it's acting up and not braving as expected. This usually solves any issues with the Dual sense controller.

How To Reset PS5 Controller
1. Disconnect the PS5 Controller from the cables
2. Flip the controller on it's back
3. Identify the Reset button hole (The round hole)
4. Use a pin or SIM ejector tool to press and hold the reset button for 5-7 seconds
5. Remove the pin from the hole.
6. Use the USB - Cable to connect the controller back to your PS5. Or you can out it in pairing mode to connect to other devices.

Reminds me of the Disc Drive hole on the System Unit. They always have to hide that hole to prevent 'What does this button do' every other time.

Thanks man, the whole right side of my controller shut off and then when it worked again some buttons wouldn't work well. This fixed it so far.

hey i have a problem, my dualsense does not reset even though i press that tiny button with a pin, it's still connected to the ps5, and it also has another problem, when i connect it with the USB cord, it charges battery, alright... but it doesn't recognize the cable, i don't know to explain it, it's like its just charging, you cannot update the controller or pair it with the console or pc

2 controllers in a row now, it they refuse to factory reset, do they have to have been connected to a ps5 at least once? Mine is only for pc and android gaming.
