Why did you decide not to use the "Single Layer Water" in shading model of the master material?
Is there a reason to avoid it and keep the "Default Lit"?

Hi, I followed you tutorial and it is amazing! I have only two problems that I cannot solve. First one is painting leaves and flowers. I can use fill tool to add or remove them on the whole water surface, but I cannot paint on it... The second thing it that I have no reflections on the surface of water. And the water itself looks more like a volume, like very dense fog or smoke. Any suggestions what could went wrong?

In MF_Ripples you put speed [RGB value] into time for the MF_Ripple about 1 hour 18 mins in. But for Alpha value you put intensity_A into time and intensity_A into weight as well. Was this on purpose or was that a mistake?

Ripples doesn't work. I check it with Opaque Blend mode - all works, but after switch to Translucent ripples are gone. Does anyone have a solution?

My only question is, does this only work with landscapes? I'm using a runtime procedural generated mesh for my terrain, kind of like minecraft, but not blocks lol

This water shader is amazing. I’m struggling with translucency though. When I put a Niagara fluid particle system in front of the water, the water always takes priority and covers up my particle system. I tried changing the priority values but it isn’t fixing the issue. Do you have any advice on how to fix this?

Hello! Im currently working at UE 5.3 ans I'm trying to make this shader, but i've had some issue from it! Some how the foam its full transparent and has some weird colors at the edge where it was supposed to fade to the water color...
I checked the whole tree 3 times now and I still don't get it... I would appreciate some help! thank you !
