I really love this theory but he could very well be a metamorphmagus like Nymphadora, they don’t change all their features completely and shown in the movie she too can change just her head into another animal and back. Not only that but you can be born with the power and don’t need to complete any sort of tasking feats to become one like animagus. Just saying, love your videos by the way 👍🏻😊

I always assumed it was a special spell or a magical potion that only transforms parts of your body into an animal one, kinda like the gillyweed thing Neville gives to harry and those wizards crafted that specially for that competition. But it's always fascinating to try to look for new explanations that fit and years after we are still trying to explain. Which makes me think, how do wizards make new spells anyways?

I always assumed that Transfiguration spells would wear off after a while -- like most all Wizard spells do like luck charms or body bind curses. But, Fudge transfigures a tea cup into a Hamster in the Prime Minister's office and it remains a rodent (he ultimately gives it to his niece and there's no indication it ever turns back into a tea-cup).

I mean, sharks are basically sea puppies. They are pretty smart, and very curious. Unfortunately they don't have hands or thumbs, so the only way they can investigate stuff is by putting it in their mouths. But yeah, some have even made friends with humans, so I don't think that shark brain would stop Crum from saving Hermione. Plus, there is probably room for a human brain, so he could have just transfigured the stuff around his brain and left that intact. But none the less, I'm down with him being a man shark.

What did Krum like to do every morning? Go for a swim in the ice cold black lake. IIRC it's stated that he was mostly unaffected by the coldness of the water in the lake, it doesn't make sense that he is just used to it from home in Bulgaria, but it makes alot of sense if he is part shark.

All I could think about there was Maui when he distracted Te Ka by shapeshifting a shark head. Maybe that's how he did it.
