Texas federal judge rules to halt FDA approval of abortion pill

The abortion drug has been widely used in the U.S. since 2000 and there is essentially no precedent for a lone judge overruling the medical decisions of the FDA.

My wife had an abortion because our baby was diagnosed with a severe skeletal dysplasia on the 21 week ultrasound. She had a severely small rib cage, undeveloped lungs and would have suffocated to death if carried to term. The abortion had to be approved by the hospitals ethics committee. We don’t need more laws regulating this.

We each need to educate ourselves about these medications so that we, at least, understand how they work. Make a decision based on facts. Let your "representatives" know you expect them to, also.

Republicans Democratics and Independents parents of kids should be outraged that this judge is allowed to do this to your children who have the right to decide their future this is for women and men... Republicians your child will hate you in my opinion if you go along with telling them what they can and cannot do. Think about about Republicians your son or daughter tells you I am not ready ..I have something's in life I want to do..it should be there decision..in my opinion I may not myself get a abortion but I and you Republican Judge and Republicians do not have the right to make that for our kids. A baby has its own life…its own body…its own mind…its own heartbeat….it is a separate human growing inside another human. No one has the right to end that life. It doesn’t “belong” to you for you to do harm to….it is its own person and has its right to live. Every woman has their own responsibility to not get pregnant if they aren’t wanting a baby….either stop doing the act that creates life or double up on birth control…..but it’s not the baby’s life that should have to pay the price for you not taking active responsibility in making sure YOUR body doesn’t get pregnant. It’s YOUR body BEFORE you get pregnant….it’s NOT only your body after you get pregnant.
